Who we are

This website is operated by Hossain Travels, a proprietorship of Md Musaraf Hossain, Badsahi Road, Gajadharpara, P.O. Gajadharpara, P.S. Berhampore, Murshidabad, West Bengal – 742102, India. This policy explains how we collect and use your personal data, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect

When you book, enquire or pay, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, passport number, travel dates, the number of travellers, and any documents you upload (such as passport copies, photographs, Aadhaar/PAN copies or bank statements needed for visas). When you pay online, the payment is handled by Razorpay; we receive only the payment reference and status, never your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.

How we use it

We use your information only to provide the services you request: to book tickets, hotels, cars and packages; to prepare visa, Umrah and Hajj applications; to process payments and refunds; to contact you about your booking; and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with airlines, hotels, transport operators, embassies, visa application centres, Saudi and Indian Hajj/Umrah authorities, and our payment processor Razorpay. We also share data when required by law or by a government authority. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as required by tax and accounting law. Uploaded documents are kept only as long as needed for your booking and related follow-up, after which we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner once your trip is complete.

How we protect it

Uploaded documents are stored in a private area of our server and can be opened only by our authorised staff after logging in. Access to our admin system is password-protected.

Cookies

This website uses only a session cookie needed to keep your booking and payment steps working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot continue a booking that depends on that data.
